This site is a humanitarian / motivational one. Some friends, speechless, prompted us to create this home-page, deeply touched by Tulio's surviving this terrible tragedy.

The many friends that witnessed his recovery and eventual getting back to arts and music world.

But our aim at this site is to join useful and pleasant things.

To join human warmness, motivational help, rehabilitation, orthopedics, prostheses and Rock and Roll, of course!

THE BLUESOO

Tulio's story isn't different from yours. He lost his job, ended a relationship, went into depression, had rents to pay, lots of difficulties, health problems and he didn't seek help.

Low self-esteem and depression, along with barbiturates (anti-depressants and tranquilizers), taken in a wrong way, ended up in a terrible crash against a train and, as a result, a fight of life against death, good against evil and an attempt at daily self-will.

Before that, Tulio enjoyed going to the beach, going up Urca mountain trail, playing the drums and worked as a graphic designer at advertising agencies in Rio de Janeiro.

THE VERSESOOOO

Up to now, Tulio has been getting over his problem. It's a slow process; there's no reason to hurry up but there's a lot of anxiety
It's a daily fight for physical and spiritual improvement that will be carried over till the last day of my life on the earthly plane and later into the spiritual land.

Thank God I've had a lot of help on everything. "Angels" in human form met me on my way.

I can cite some of them, or better, their pseudonyms: (Zezé, Lili Blues, Jacob bassist, among many others, besides his children and specially his parents). I MUST MENTION ABBR's PROFESSIONALS AND THE MEDICAL TEAM AT SOUZA AGUIAR HOSPITAL, in RIO DE JANEIRO.

My parents are worth mentioning. Despite their advanced age and health problems, they accepted me warmly with all Love, as if I were a baby that really needed special care. I live with them and I can say they are tireless in doing good deeds and as solid as a rock.

THE SOLOOO

I'm playing again, I'm walking again, I'm living again ........., I'm still in a wheelchair because my prosthesis is too "awkward".

I'm looking for sponsorship or even a donation of a better prosthetic device.
I can't buy it! This kind of imported device is too expensive.

Apart from the motor aspect, I need to improve, to get ahead, to transcend. There's no trick, no formula. It's "getting down to business" and counting on God, on friends, organizations, NGO`s and collecting all that's good, beautiful and positive.

To work on good deeds, for that's the only way good things will happen.

TULIOOOOO

We want to show, through Tulio Batera's story, the human being's ability
to get over all the obstacles, to overcome it and to be back on his feet (literally) after a tragedy which may happen to any of us.

We also want to show how MUSIC can be a wonderful possibility to all of us and, in his case, how it was decisive for him to take action.

Tulio, and many others like him, is an example to be followed by those people who have lost hope in life.

DETERMINATION is his motto ............ without forgetting he isn't an iron man ............ always fighting like anyone else.
